About the speaker:
Catriona Hurd is an ecophysiologist specialising in responses of seaweeds to climate change, and the development of seaweed aquaculture in Tasmania, Australia. She is co-chair of the 24th International Seaweed Symposium organising committee; the 24th ISS will be held for the first time in the Australasian region in Hobart, Tasmania 19th – 24th February 2023.
