HortEx is Asia’s premier trade fair for horticultural and floricultural production and processing technology. First launched in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, in 2018, the event has been successfully held annually, drawing hundreds of international and local exhibitors, as well as thousands of trade visitors from Vietnam and around the world.
Since 2025, HortEx is being co-located with AGRITECHNICA ASIA, by bringing the two exhibitions under one roof the organizers will be able to offer its exhibitors and visitors an even greater platform to start or expand their business throughout the Asian region. Synergies between the two exhibitions include machinery and crop cultivation, offering visitors an efficient overview of available technologies.
From 2025 onwards, HortEx will be held annually alongside AGRITECHNICA ASIA, with the location alternating between Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) and Bangkok (Thailand). The joint exhibition debuted in Ho Chi Minh City in 2025, and it will continue in Bangkok in 2026.

HISTORY
2018
HortEx Vietnam was held for the very first time, marking the beginning of the event.
2018 – 2024
Over the years, HortEx has brought together nearly 27,000 visitors and 700 exhibitors
2024
The organizers of HortEx, Nova Exhibitions from the Netherlands and VEAS from Vietnam, signed an agreement with DLG (German Agricultural Society to co-locate HortEx together with AGRITECHNICA ASIA in an annual cycle, alternating between Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) and Bangkok (Thailand).
2025
The inaugural edition of these co-located events was held from 12-14 March 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City and proved to be an immediate success, attracting over 300 companies and 10,693 trade visitors from both Vietnam and around the world.
