About the speaker: 

Alexia Akbay is the CEO and Founder of Symbrosia, a CleanTech compny dedicated to reducing methane emissions in livestock through the use of innovative seaweed feed additives (Asparagopsis taxiformis). With a Master’s from Yale and a Bachelor's in Chemistry from NYU, Alexia has secured over $17M in venture and grant funding to propel Symbrosia's success. Recognized in Forbes 30 under 30 in Social Impact, she leads her team in pioneering sustainable solutions for the agricultural industry. Her signature is driving innovation (both in the lab and the field) by designing human-centered incentive systems.
