The case study will demonstrate how the research on Asparagopsis as a feed additive translated into a quality standard under the Standards Australia new alternative pathway. It will cover off the steps taken in the development of a world first standard on Bromoform quality for the use as a feed additive and demonstrate potential opportunity for further standardisation of other areas of sea agriculture through this pathway.
