Simon Davis is the founder of SEADLING, a biotechnology startup he established in 2018 to lead seaweed innovation. With eight years of experience in the seaweed industry, Simon has been deeply involved in advancing sustainable seaweed cultivation. At SEADLING, he and his team produce science-backed seaweed functional ingredients for B2B partners in animal feed, human food, and crop fertilizers.

In addition to his work at SEADLING, Simon serves on the advisory board of the UN Global Compact’s Safe Seaweed Coalition. He is passionate about the potential of seaweed to create sustainable products, reduce carbon emissions, and restore oceanic ecosystems, all while supporting the communities that depend on these practices.
